Who AS Contractor Is
AS Contractor is a concrete contractor in Bridgeport, CT.
We take residential and commercial work: the driveway that heaved over the winter, the patio that sank at one corner, the cracked garage floor, the public sidewalk with a lip you trip on, and the brick, block and stone that sits around all of it.
The ground here is wet clay that freezes hard, so most of what we fix started underneath. That is why we look at the base and the drainage before we price anything, and why the price you get covers the whole job.

Every job starts with a free estimate and a quote for the whole job, and ends with the site cleaned up.

We answer, or we ring back the same working day. Tell us what is cracked, sunken or missing and roughly how big it is.
- We come out and look
We walk it with you, measure, check where the water runs and sound the old concrete for "delamination", the hollow spots you cannot see.
- The price, on paper
Materials, labor and the schedule in one figure, and nothing gets added to it once we start.
- The work
We turn up on the day we said. Old concrete comes out, the base goes in, and the pour gets its finish and its joints.
- We leave it tidy
Forms, offcuts and spoil go in the truck, and the drive and the street are swept before we pull away.
